Hello Coding gives kids a solid background in coding in an accessible, practical and fun way

Why learn to code

Improves academic performance

Coding helps children plan their time effectively, organise their thoughts more efficiently and logically work through problems by breaking down larger problems into smaller ones.

Creates professional opportunities

More and more places of work are looking for people with coding skills, and students with a coding background stand out on university applications.
By learning to code at a young age your child has a fantastic head start.

Fosters emotional wellbeing

By creating their own games and apps children can explore their creativity, build their confidence and make new friends in a fun and interesting way.

Our Approachis what makes Hello Coding different

  • We only use teachers with industry experience

Our staff are both fully qualified teachers and have many years of industry experience. By having industry professionals as teachers, students are better prepared for the future by being exposed to up-to-date insights, knowledge of the inner workings of the professional world and the links between theory and practice.

  • Classroom or online learning, your choice

Studies show working in a classroom is better for the child's learning and development but we're committed to staying fully flexible and offer online courses.

  • "I think it is important to learn to code because it is a helpful skill and useful if you ever need to do anything on a computer.
I find the classes engaging because I’m learning new skills and meeting new people and making new friends and I'm learning plus having fun at the same.
For these reasons I think others should join."

    Lewis (13), student
  • "I think it's important to learn coding because even if you have a job that isn't to do with code it's still good to find out what you can do and can't do on computers and how to even use one if you don't know how to. I find the class engaging as you always get to do tasks and it's fun to learn how you can do games and other coding. I recommend you to join because at first, I didn't really know coding and I didn't really have interest in it but now that I started the club it's so much easier and I understand more and I take more interest in it. "

    Szabina (12), student
  • "I think it is important to learn coding for us as kids because we get to know the technology around us and it prepares us for the future. It helps us with communication, creativity, maths, writing and confidence. I find the classes engaging because all the people there are very smart and helpful and the coding app we use is a very vibrant and eye-catching site that is very colourful which helps us learn and enjoy the lessons even more. Lastly, I definitely recommend others to join this coding club because if you really do enjoy or want to learn to code then you should come join this amazing club."
